yes, but Root will bat at 3 says denly today. I suspect that the main reason
why Root avs only 33 this last 12 months has been hes been coming in
quite early when the ball is still new. so i spose he might as well bat
at 3. perhaps he also felt he owed denly after running him out at lords.

i have so low an expectation of our batters that if Burns, Ali & Denly
get 100 runs between them in the next match it will be a plus. Roy might
not last too long either.
